Merit Badges

• Yarnaholic: Sizable yarn stash? Weakness for good yarn? 
• Road Trip Knitter: Do you view travel time as perfectly good knitting time? If you count rows as you count miles, you've earned the Road Trip Knitter badge!
  
• Sock Stitcher: Is your stash overflowing with sock yarn? If you can't resist a pair of socks on your needles, you've earned the Sock Stitcher badge!
• Frog Queen: Rip out stitches just as often as you knit them? Determined to fix those mistakes or just start the project over? 
• Crochet Crafter: Dabbled in crochet? Know how to wield a hook? 
• Yarn Chicken Champ: When the yarn starts running low but the pattern keeps going, you've got yourself a game of yarn chicken. Will you make it to the end and become a yarn chicken champ?
• Pattern Navigator: Have you successfully navigated a pattern from cast on to bind off with all the knits and purls in between? 
• Shawl Knitter: If you can't get enough of knitting shawls, you've earned the Shawl Knitter badge!
• Castonitis: Sure, you might have seven projects you're currently working on... but isn't it exciting to start something new? If you frequently forget all WIPs when blinded by the excitement of casting on a new project, you've earned your Castonitis badge.
• Travel Knitter: Most knitters never go on a trip without a project or two in tow. If you enjoy knitting during the journey or once you arrive at your destination, you've earned your Travel Knitter badge!
• Serial Crafter: If all crafts are fair game and you have trouble sticking to just one type, you've earned your Serial Crafter badge!
• Tangle Tamer: If you've ever taken an unruly wad of yarn and managed to pick out the knots and get it back into a usable ball, you've earned your Tangle Tamer badge.
• Public Knitter: Do you take your needles out in public? Ready to brave the stares and questions of onlookers? 
• Cable Competence: Have you survived the twists and turns of a cabled knit? 
• LYS Regular: Does your local yarn shop know your name? The project you're currently working on? Your dog's name? If so, consider yourself a regular. 
• Camp Knitter: Do you knit by the campfire? Take your latest project into the tent? 
• Procrastiknitter: Do you knit to avoid adulting and other responsibilities? 
• Brioche Bravery: If you've braved the brioche stitch and lived to tell the tale, you've earned the Brioche Bravery badge!
• Beach Knitter: What's more relaxing than a day at the beach with your knitting in tow? If you like to dig your toes in the sand while you work on your latest project, you've earned the Beach Knitting badge!
• Bicraftual: Can you knit AND crochet? Or maybe you're amazing at another fiber arts combo? 
• Femiknitter: Are you a knitter that stands for women's rights and believes in the importance of their bodily autonomy? 
• Sweater Stitcher: Knocked out that first sweater? Or maybe sweaters are just your jam? 
• Speckle Enthusiast: Do you buy all the speckled yarn? 
• Steeking Survivor: Did you muster up your courage and cut that sweater in half? And live to tell the tale? 
• UFO Collector: Do you have unfinished object or two? Or seven? You've earned your UFO Collector badge! Don't worry... you'll get to them one day.
• Alpaca Admirer: Those doe eyes... those fleecy bangs... If you can't get enough of those adorable alpacas, then you've earned your Alpaca Admirer badge.
• Yarn Crawler: Gone store to store during your area's yarn crawl? 
• Gauge Goddess: Are you a religious swatcher? Do you usually get gauge on your projects? 
• Team Top Down / Two Up: It's a divisive issue... are you Team Toe Up or Team Top Down?
• Pom Pom Perfectionist: Sometimes a hat just isn't complete without the perfect pom pom. The Pom Pom Perfectionist pays extremely careful detail to the shape of the pom, meticulously trimming it until it is a perfect sphere.
• Ewephoria: Does wool make you happy? Are you partial to sheep? 
• Yarn Bomber: Ever knit a sweater for a lamppost? A hat for a fire hydrant? If you enjoy adding color to your community by decorating the streets with knitwear, you've earned your Yarn Bomber badge. 
• SABLE Success: We may perish... but our stash will live on! If you've achieved Stash Accumulation Beyond Life Expectancy, then this badge is for you.
• Late Night Crafter: Do you craft past your bedtime? Do you promise you'll go to sleep soon... but just need to do a few more rows? 
• DPN Daredevil: Have you figured out how to juggle four (or more!) needles at a time? 
• Totally Tunisian: Are long hooks your jam? Do you know how to Tunisian Crochet? 
• Critter Crafter: Does your cat have an extensive hat collection? Have you made a sweater for a furry friend? 
• Mending Maven: Are you a darn good darner? A wiz at patching holes and tears? 
• Chart Champion: Do those tiny little boxes make sense to you? Have you successfully navigated a pattern by interpreting all those colorful squares and symbols? 
• Sleeve Island Survivor: Are you no longer stranded? Did you add those sleeves and manage to escape the island?
• Amigurumi Aficionado: Do you love to crochet tiny stuffed animals? Or tiny food sculptures with adorable eyes? 
• Entrelac Expert: Have you tackled entrelac and achieved that beautiful basketweave?
• Fiber Arts Educator: Have you taught others to knit or crochet? Instructed someone else on a particular fiber technique?
• Kitchener Captain: Have you stitched two pieces of knitting together? Is grafting your jam? 
• Camelid Cuddler: Love some llamas? Affectionate toward alpacas?
• Mathematical Maker: Do your projects typically involve some additional calculations? Do you do the math to ensure a proper fit?
• Colorwork Conqueror: Have you made something with multiple colors? Maybe even worked a couple of strands at the same time?
• Granny Square Great: Are you one of the greats churning out granny squares like it's your job? Or maybe you just finished your first one?
• Pattern Tester: Pattern designers always need knitters and crocheters to test their designs. If you've ever created a sample project to help out a designer, you've earned your Pattern Tester badge!
